Are all materials provide?
Yes, mostly all materials are provided. The only materials to be added onto monthly fees are painting canvases, if you don't have one. If you bring your own canvas then no charge.
What is NO 5th class schedule?
NO 5th class schedule means when there is a 5th class of the month, there will be no classes. You are only charged x4 classes during the month, so the extra 5th class is an off day.
What is the youngest age you accept?
The youngest age to start classes at the studio is age 7 with experience, preferably age 8 is best. Younger ages are not ready for structured activities.
Do you have adult classes?
Yes, adult classes are weekend mornings and weekday evenings by arrangement only. Classes are usually art goals oriented per student.
Do you have referral and family discounts available?
Yes, referral discounts are available for those who give studio enrollment recommendations. Family discounts are available also when full x4 classes are taken for the month.
How do you manage missed classes?
You can make up a missed class by arrangement or will be adjusted for next invoice.
Are the classes structured?
Yes, the classes are structured and has a curriculum students follow. If students progress faster and focused, they can have their own project choices agreed with teacher.
How long are classes?
Classes are 2 hours long for all students except youngers. It is recommended that students around age 7 do a 1 hour class.
How do students progress and show achievement?
Beginning students are given skill worksheets to improve techniques. Art contests opportunities are suggested to help with how students are compared to others but is important to know that active participating shows achievement. For youngers, they progress to HS art portfolio concepts that help with college admissions. Adult students have personal art goals that are achieved and welcomed.
